		<description>I loved this write-up. There has been a huge shift from journalism to making/manufacturing a story. Journalism and getting to the heart of an issue or event with all the potential variables is hard work. Many in media do not have the time to put in the effort and/or they embellish with opinion where deeper understanding is needed.

Polls are one metric, but the qualitative approach of sitting and having a free-form conversation where the questions arise from listening and understanding is deeply needed still. Opinion and viewpoints are needed, but not as an endpoint, but one point of many seen from an aggregate.

I love the conversation between Brokow and matthews is great. Brokaw is a journalist &#038; Matthews is a political PR guy by trade.
