Facebook in reality
Many social software experts talk about mapping real world social behaviours onto online spaces. This is a bit of the reverse and shows why some (some would say many) things in Facebook just don’t work.

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for posting this. I think it illustrates very well what drives me crazy about Facebook — so many of the things that exist on it are there simply for the sake of existing, and not necessarily to improve productivity, communication, or learning. Facebook DOES have some pretty useful tools for good, legitimate purposes. However, it also has the ability to be one giant time-waster if you’re not careful. Maybe I should start a Facebook group: petition for the responsible use of Facebook?
