		<description>It's been a few weeks now since the BPP collapse appeared on the scene. And I'm still disappointed.

Since then NPR has moved on to an acquisition of an interactive media unit owned, up to now, by competitor Public Radio International (PRI).  Called "Public Interactive," they basically provide web site and e-mail marketing hosting services for stations that cannot or do not want to have their own dedicated web professionals on staff.

It's utterly unclear what the advantage of this purchase, announced late last week, really is. NPR execs have yet to fully explain it.

In any case, thanks for this roundup of coverage.  I find it fascinating to see how others, from outside the public media system, view our actions and relationships.
