		<description>If you want to do something meaningful for the community, why don't you actually talk to the community about what they might find meaningful? Frankly, lists are just curios, and nothing more, especially when the way they've been put together isn't entirely clear. 

Perhaps you'd be better off putting your time and money into something else?</description>

		<description>You know Suw, as one of driving forces behind this effort here at  NowPublic, I am going to say what I said many times before with our previous lists:  this was an attempt to do something solid and meaningful for the community.  In fact...we get very little traffic from it (happy to share our numbers).   The last few lists we generated were not large page drivers at all...but we proceeded because we felt it was an important and objective calculation of the state of the union.  We don't sell advertising on the site currently, so traffic monetization is really not the driving factor here.   These lists take a lot of time and money to produce, and regardless of what you think, they are done with great care and caution.

I have to say...your post above on the concept of 'lists' is almost as trite as the lists themselves are to you.</description>
